Fall 2026 Bursary Announcement
Brand new this year, Laurier is excited to announce two admissions bursaries available to incoming students starting their program on Laurier's Brantford or Milton campus in Fall 2026 : the Brantford Admissions Bursary and the Milton Admissions Bursary.
These one-time $2,000 bursaries provide an opportunity for new Golden Hawks to launch their Laurier journeys with a warm welcome and a little more financial flexibility. And the best part is that these bursaries don’t require an application ; they will be automatically applied to all eligible students’ accounts in December 2026 (deducted from Winter 2027 tuition fees).
Here's how to know if you'll qualify:
- You’ve accepted (or are planning to accept) an offer to start in a full-time* program on Laurier’s Brantford or Milton campus in September 2026.
- You will have met all the conditions of your offer by the deadline outlined on your offer of admission.
- You’re a resident of Ontario and either a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, protected person or refugee.
- You will be able to demonstrate financial need by submitting and meeting all requirements of an OSAP application by August 2026 (with OSAP funds disbursed by October 2026).
*”Full-time” studies means a minimum of 2.0 credits (typically 4 courses) per term, or according to an approved reduced course load registration outlined by your accommodation plan with Accessible Learning .
To remain eligible for these bursaries, remember:
- You need to start your studies in Fall 2026 – deferring your offer will make you ineligible for this bursary.
- You need to pursue your degree on the campus your offer stipulates – transferring to another Laurier campus within year 1 will make you ineligible for this bursary.
- You must demonstrate financial need through the completion of an OSAP application by August 2026 – not qualifying for OSAP for the 2026-27 school year will make you ineligible for this bursary.
If you or someone you care about is considering Laurier Brantford or Laurier Milton for the next step in their education, make sure you take a look at our Scholarships and Bursaries page to get technical details on these new bursaries, as well as all the other scholarships and financial supports available.
